Drape Desk
A poured-fabric front on a rigid service core. The public face is one visually seamless drape; the working side is flat, wired and serviceable.

THE STORY
Every reception desk has two faces. The one the guest sees, and the one the staff live with. The Drape Desk treats them as two different jobs.
The guest side is 4.2 metres of what looks like heavy fabric caught mid-fall — soft folds, no seam, no joint line anywhere. It is three moulded shells bonded onto a rigid steel service core, faired by hand until the joins vanish. The staff side is the opposite: flat, wired, with cable routes and a serviceable back panel, because a desk that looks like poured silk still has to hold a printer.
Solid surface would show every panel joint over that length. Stone cannot fold. A mould can. The first Drape Desk went into a peninsula resort reception in Bodrum in 2025, in pearl gelcoat; the mould is now a house tool and every desk since has been a custom pull from it. Quoted per project, because no two lobbies are the same length.
WHY FIBERGLASS
A 4.2 m front with soft folds and zero seams is a moulding job. Solid surface would show every joint; stone can't drape.
